September/October Writing Activities:
Silly Stories - Strange or impossible things happen.
Due Oct. 1st.
Halloween Stories- Using lots of Scary Details
Three Wishes Story- Students were to write about
wishes for others, not for them. I goal was to have
them tell why each wish would be special. For example:
That every child would have a home for Christmas. Why,
so they could have a warm bed and someone to love them.
Cartoons: Comics are divided into sections called panels.
The illustration is part of the joke. Speech balloons show
what the characters think. The last panel makes you laugh.
May Writing Activity:
Fractured Fairy Tales: Create a book based on a popular Fairy .
March/April Writing Activities:
Writing Instructions: Students will need to write out the instructions of one of their favourite games or how to make something.
